North Star Soccer club was created in May of 1995 by a group of volunteers who wanted to bring soccer to the youth within the community and provide a fun and positive soccer experience regardless of social, economic or cultural backgrounds. |
The idea of creating the club was a result of a meeting of two very experienced professionals. Head Coach of an elite soccer club in the former Soviet Union Peter Zukovski and the Captain of "Chernomoretz Odessa" Russia, Vasili Ishchak.
The main goal of the Club is to ensure the opportunity for all players to participate in organized programs of team play and skill development based on ability and commitment. The Club provides the opportunity for players to become responsible members of their community through the game of soccer, for their mental, physical, social and leadership development. |

North Star Soccer Club is a proud member of and is insured by Ontario Soccer Association. |
